Live A.I.D.S. 21

Sunday, July 31st, 2005

I watched Live A.I.D.S. this afternoon with Jenny and her friend Michelle. The show was okay but the past shows I’ve seen were better. Icel and this other girl did briliant monologues. The other spiels and skits were mediocre. So was the spot dance. The company was fewer than usual so maybe that’s why the show wasn’t so good. Anyway, I got reaquaintaed with the old and new Samaskomers which was quite nice. I thought they wouldn’t remember me anymore. I think I need to be more active with the Samaskom alumni. It’s good for networking.

Yay! I got the doramas I ordered from Buruburu. Some of the new titles are Gokusen, Trick 1&2, Heaven’s Coins 1&2, Ring series, etc. If you want to see my dorama list, click on the link at the sidebar.

My new therapist

Saturday, July 30th, 2005

I’m feeling so much better now. I told Louie about what Phoebe and I discussed and why it affected me so much. Then she gave really good advice. I think Louie, should be a therapist. She’s really good at giving advices. Imagine, I was still shaken when I met up with her but now I am much calmer. Thank goddess for Louie.

I’m a real mess right now. I’m literally shaking and it’s all just because Phoebe and I talked about my future and career options. Ack! Why the hell am I so petrified right now? Ack! Ack! ACK!!! Shit. I need to get my shit together. What the hell is wrong with me?!

Gah. Anyway, I’m off to pick up Louie…

good hair day

Thursday, July 28th, 2005

I finally had my hair cut today. It’s okay but I prefer the old cut better. I usually go to Studio 546 but my favorite stylist resigned so I was forced to go to another salon. I was thinking of going to Hairbytes but I settled for David’s Prestige. I think it’s a wrong choice since the stylist made me wait for so long and he’s not that good. I’ll try Hairbytes next time or if I find out where my favorite stylist works now, I’ll go there. Studio 546 gives really good haircuts but it’s expensive there. Bing, my favorite stylist, is just a creative director (whatever that means in salon parlance) but it costs 600+ to get my hair done. Their senior stylist charges around 800 pesos. In Prestige, my haircut cost me a little more than 400 pesos. So that’s a lot cheaper. But I guess I really have to pay more for better service. My hair is really damaged from the bleaching and dye job I had a couple of months ago. It’s very course and dry. Always in a tangle as well. I really need to take care of my hair more but I don’t have the patience for it. I just yank the brush and leave the tangles there.

I just finished watching ‘Pride’. I like the last episode even if it’s really mushy and pa-cute. I wish a guy would propose to me like what Halu did. Speaking of doramas, GMA 7 started airing the bastardized version of Friends last Tuesday. I tried watching it yesterday but I couldn’t bear it. Their dubbing is just so awful. I’ll be surprised if it becomes popular in the Philippines. Maybe that’s a good thing because it might discourage the networks from airing doramas. Heh

This is for those knowledgeable in Wordpress. I couldn’t figure out how to make the ‘Reads’ and ‘Friends’ Journals’ sort in order of update. I also don’t know how to make the links appear with ‘*’ when they’re updated. Please help!

Tonight was Sherwin’s despedida for Cebu. He’s going to start working there tomorrow. Adi texted me this afternoon and told me to go to Megamall for the gathering. I said I will follow but I fell asleep and woke up past 8pm. My bad. I wanted to watch the season finale of CSI so I didn’t go. Tsk tsk. I suck I know but the finale was great. hehehe

Konfabulator

Tuesday, July 26th, 2005

I just discovered Konfabulator and was totally blown away. I’ve been seeing that word all over the net was never interested in looking it up until I read that it’s now for free. Free is good so I grabbed the chance. I’m still playing around with it but it looks really neat. I just hope it doesn’t eat up too much system resources. I’d uninstall it if it crashes this PC.
