I never liked Lindsay Lohan. I first saw her in “Get a Clue” on the Disney channel and thought she was a sister of Frankie Muniz of Malcolm in the Middle because they look too much alike. But Ms. Lohan has risen to remarkable popularity for reasons unknown to me and now she’s sporting anorexia with Nicole Richie. I don’t know what got into her mind since she was seen as “hot” by the male majority. So eat, Linday bitch. You look scary now!

The Philippines is in turmoil right now. I haven’t posted anything about the situation because I really didn’t want to worry about it. But the situation is getting worse and people are clamoring for the president to resign. People are getting very restless that they might take up to the streets again and have an Edsa Revolution if GMA doesn’t resign willingly. Some government officials are starting to voice out that they want Pres. Arroyo to step down, be subjected to impeachment proceedings, or thrown out. However, PGMA insists on remaining in her post.

So what started all of this? It started when a wiretapped conversation between PGMA and Comelec Chair Garcellano was released to the public. I haven’t heard the tape but people say that PGMA was telling Garcellano to increase the votes for her by 1 million. People became outraged because of this and PGMA was forced to admit that it was her voice on the tape. Of course, this is a very short summary of what is happening in the Philippines but that’s the main gist. I really don’t have much of an opinion on this matter except that I don’t want GMA to be thrown out without due process. I wasn’t in the Philippines during the Presidential election and wasn’t able to vote but frankly I didn’t want Fernando Poe Jr. to win. I know cheating is wrong but I shudder to think what would happen to the Philippines if FPJ won. He would most probably be like Ex-Pres. Joseph Estrada who squandered millions. What GMA did is a shame if it is indeed true but I forgive her for what she did because I care about the country. I think we should just move on and try to improve the economic situation.

Ewwww. I just heard from a fellow jdorama fan that ABS-CBN will start to air tagalized (dubbed in Tagalog) Japanese doramas. She heard that they’re planning to show Hero, Majou no Joken, Kamisama Mou Sukoshi Dake, and SOS. *sobs* Now everybody will go crazy about doramas and that cheapens it. Waaaaaah. I know this is elitist of me but I really don’t want the idea of every Nene and Pilar going crazy over Kubozuke or Takuya then drops them for the next fad. This is a crime to the existing Filipino dorama fans!
