the cat’s meow
Wednesday, November 2nd, 2005Okay. I emailed the boys and let’s just see how it goes. I’ve kinda given up on you-know-who so it’s time to explore other options.
Meanwhile, I’ve been playing with my Aria.

I was sulking around the house light because you-know-who has forgetten me already. Waaah. So I watched Amelie again then started and finished 2 books! 2 books! That’s a record for me. But it worked because I couldn’t think about him while reading.
I read these two:

I liked Milkweed a lot. The setting was holocaust period Warsaw and how an innocent young riffraff survived the period through his wits and naivete. Jerry Spinelli painted a haunting picture of how it was like back then, some were quite disturbing considering it’s a children’s book. Well, the book was good since I couldn’t put it down. And I like Spinelli’s works a lot, especially Stargirl.
There’s a $1 CDs sale at www.shelflife.com in case anybody’s interested. Some of those on sale I already have but I ordered some CDs by Laura Watling, Majestic, The Arrogants, Artisokka, and Le Coupe.
