In Her Shoes, etc.

Saturday, December 10th, 2005

I watched “In Her Shoes” with my mom at Powerplant. I loved the movie. Although the characters are kinda two-dimensional, I liked how the plot progressed and how the relationship between the two sisters, their growth, and the past of their family were unravelled for the viewers. It’s a “chick flick” but a nice one. I think guys will like the story too. Well, maybe.

I bought a skirt while we were at the mall. It’s a black balloon skirt from Dorothy Perkins. It’s really nice. Not very cheap but compared to previes items I bought from that store, the skirt is cheaper. I like it a lot. I almost bought a cellphone case from Samsonite but when I tried to fit my phone with the case inside by bag’s inside pocket, it didn’t fit so I ended up not buying it. I still like the crappy cheapo case I bought but I stopped using it because of the damn strong magnets. I need to find a good replacement for it.

Might go to a goth gig tomorrow night. I invited Adi and Adji to go with me but they still haven’t told me their decision. Hoy, you guys still owe me a treat from Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for snubbing my party. If the two assholes won’t go, I might go alone unless I get tired from shopping. I’ll go with mom to Tiendesitas again since I haven’t bought any Christmas gifts for my friends. I also need to buy some stuff for my pets. Speaking of pets, here are some more pictures of Vyolette.

I’m so impressed with the postal service in my city. Used to be, they send me a card informing me that a package addressed to me has arrived and that I should pick it up from the post office. There, I pay P30 for… I don’t really know what that is for. Storage fee I guess. So anyways, two days ago, a postman delivered the CDs I ordered from djangos.com. I completely forgot about purchasing them because it seemed so long ago when I ordered those CDs online. I was also pleased because I didn’t need to go to the post office anymore. I thought the straight delivery to my home is a one time occurence but this morning (again, the day hasn’t ended for me yet) the dress I won on ebay was delivered directly to my home.

Remember this?

I won that from ebay last November 28 and it’s with me now. Very fast delivery but I took the global priority shipping option. I’m happy with the dress. I want to use it for either Christmas or New Year’s Eve. If my garter belts and stockings arrive before the 24th, I’ll wear that dress on Xmas. Nice.
