seeing daylight = spending money

Damn! I so lack sleep but I think the events for today made it all worth it. I got woken up by my cat Aria who was looking for her kittens. The stupid git forgot where she put them last night and she thought I took them away or hid them. Turns out she hid her kittens in my mom’s closet so we had to show them to her just to make her quiet.

I couldn’t sleep after she woke me up so I decided to go with mom since she was planning to go to Galleria and that’s the Smart branch where I bought my phone is. We got there around 11 AM (so early for me, right? the daylight hurt my eye! serious!) and we did our errands. Smart said they will order my replacement phone and I’ll get it hopefully after a week. I didn’t throw a hissyfit since they were nice and being cooperative. Also paid my cellphone bill since I was already there. That’s the only place I was supposed to go but I still had time before going to meet mom so I went to the cellphone shops at the basement and bought myself a protective case for my mobile. It’s nice. Black. Cheap I guess. Got it for 180 pesos. I was itching to buy the 512 MB memory stick duo to expand my phone’s memory but I didn’t have enough cash with me. As I was heading back, I passed by Craft World and had the itch to do tatting again. What’s tatting? It’s needlework for making laces. I used to shuttle tat but I seem to have lost all my tools so I said to myself, why not try needle tatting since the craft store doesn’t sell shuttles. So I bought some threads and the tatting needle. I was expecting it to be cheap but it wasn’t. The needle cost me around 300 bucks. I’ve probably lost my readers by now but if someone is still reading, good. So let me continue, after purchasing, I met up with mom. When we were about to leave, we passed by Morning Glory (store which sells Korean cutie stuff) and they had a 12 for P98 sale on stationaries. Well I bought that much but I don’t think they would look good with my seal. Then we went to mom’s office because she had to meet someone there.

Yadda yadda yadda.

Now on the the part I like. Come afternoon, we headed to Tiendesitas (that new night market place) but we only got to look at Pet Central. It was mom’s first time to go there so she was really delighted with the animals and pet accesories. It just so happened that Tiendesitas was holding a special bazaar on pets so we headed there as well. To cut the long story short, we saw an adorable Persian kitten and bought her. Mom and I split the cost of 8,000 pesos between us. That’s cheap for a female Persian cat. I couldn’t leave the place without buying pet accesories so I bought a bed and a pet bag so I could take the kitten with me to…I dunno. Wherever. I spent so much within the day but the kitten is just soooooo cute. My sister was so delighted when we surprised her with the kitten when we got home. We named the kitten Vyolette.

My narration sucks but I don’t want to think anymore. My brain has turned to mush from lack of sleep so just look at the nice pictures.

Gosh! We have Morning Glory na pala. Galleria is Robinson’s Galleria in Ortigas, right? I didn’t noticed it the last time I went there. Hirap kasi lagi lang ako sa North. I wish we still live in Makati  .
Your kitty is so cute. I want to get a pet, preferably a dog, but I wouldn’t be able to take care of it that much :-( .

    Grace,

Meron bang Morning Glory sa ibang countries? Yup Galleria in Ortigas. Matagal na yun nandun. Mga 2 years na ata. May iba ding okay na stores dun sa new wing ng Galleria. May mga cute stuff din.

Hirap nga mag alaga ng pets. Gastos pero ang cute cute nila e. So I guess worth it din :) Maybe you should get yourself a low maintenance dog?

Yup. Morning Glory is a Korean character company. Para siyang Sanrio. I believe they have stores in Hawaii. I know these things cause I was so in to cute stationeries before. LOL.

    Grace,

Cool! I thought some Korean guy who lives here just decided to open a store and name it Morning Glory.
