I feel better now so I’ll talk about my New Year. Nothing much happened. The family just checked in Shangrila Makati for 2 nights and I liked it a lot. I enjoy staying in hotels. It’s just so relaxing and I get to soak on the tub for hours. New Year’s Eve, we had a buffet dinner in one of the restaurants then danced a bit cos everyone was celebrating. Boring but I’ve been such a bore lately it doesn’t surprise me. I guess the reason why I didn’t want to talk about this is because I spent so much again. Shangrila is right next to several malls in Makati so we spent a lot of time shopping. I spent around 13,000 pesos in cosmetics, shoes, and perfume. I disappoint myself. I’m not saying that I’m not happy with my purchases cos I am. Very happy even. It’s just that I told myself that I won’t spend so much especially since the year is just beginning. Well, I shopped on the 31st so that’s not the beginning of the year but just the same, some of those purchases were charged to my credit cards so I am still in debt. Gaaah.

Happy New Year to everyone. I had a nice time while I was away but I don’t really feel like talking about it right now. My mood has been quite unstable lately. Maybe it’s because I’ve been sleeping early even before New Year’s eve. There has also been other changes in my life but I don’t really want to talk about it in this entry.

I wanted to start this year’s first entry with a cheerful note but it cannot be helped. Hopefully this gloom and worry will lift soon but I fear that this will stay with me for awhile.
