My friend Louie arrived from New Zealand the other day and she came over to my house while I was sleeping. I wasn’t able to talk to her because the maids didn’t wake me up. Louie gave me her bday/Christmas/”Pasalubong” gifts which are “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” and a kick-ass chocolate which I will discuss more later.
I’m still reading Misfortune but the book is not as amusing as I thought it would be. I could just drop it and start on the new Harry Potter book but I won’t. I’ll give the book one last try and if it fails to hold my interest I will move on.
The chocolate. The one Louie gave me is this

Dechox by Bloomsberry & Co.

I think I posted an entry about Bloomsberry chocolates before. Or maybe I just emailed Louie about it. Whatever. I got what I want. I tasted the chocolate and it’s okay. I prefer milk chocolate though but that’s okay. I love the packaging and I’ll keep it.
Speaking of chocolates, I have a friend who’s a choco addict. I won’t mention her name because she might not like it if everyone knows about her addiction. This friend is the real deal. A living chocolate addict. Ever since a doctor told her to cut down on her food intake and stop eating chocolates, she became more obsessed. She keeps emergency chocolates in her house and office. Maybe even her purse too. She cuts down on regular food so she could justify a chocolate after dinner. Justify because she’s really not allowed to eat it. But the good friend that I am condones her addiction. My bad. But she’ll really go crazy without her chocolates so I tell her she can eat some choco twice a week at the most. I don’t know if she is following my advice though.
This addiction topic reminds me of another friend. He’s gay and addicted to sex. He literally shakes when he’s horny. Wow! I think he changed now though. I haven’t talked to him for a long time.
I love chocolate. I’m no addict though. I don’t like pralines. I don’t like Crunch anymore. I do love Cadbury (with Hazelnut or Fruit and Nut kind), Hershis (Kisses, plain, with almonds, etc), and local chocolates like Flat Tops and Knick Knacks. So no I am not an addict and I don’t eat 3 bars in one sitting. My friend can though.
PS
I’m not addicted to sex.
