MV Doulos, the world’s oldest ocean-going passenger ship ( 2 years younger than Titanic) and the largest floating book shop, is now in the Philippines!

Book Shop opening hours:
Tuesday-Saturday 10am-10pm
Sunday & Monday 2pm-10pm
(Entrance fee: P10.00)
Note: Children under 16 are free, but must be accompanied by parents or guardians)
Doulos carries a stock of half a million books, which are for sale at affordable prices. The 6,000 titles cover a wide range of subjects such as science, education, cookery, technology, dictionaries, sports, and children’s books, among others.

Usually, if it floats, I’ve heard about it, but this is totally new to me… sounds [b][i]really[/i][/b] neat though, especialyl with half a million books… which reminds me, must surf the web less and read more, good for my educashun.

I’ve been in MV Doulos once and only bought 1 book because back then they sold mostly Christian and children’s books. I bought the first book from the Left Behind series and that got me hooked even if it’s all christiany and stuff. Hehehe. I don’t think I will go there this year. I spent too much on shopping already.
