Pizza Cone

Sunday, April 29th, 2007

Conopizza has come up with a way to make pizza-eating easier for people on the go. For me, it looks mighty appetizing but some people in the livejournal group I’m in find it disgusting. I have no idea why though. I really like the concept and the pictures are making me salivate. Yes, I’m quite hungry at the moment.

iPod Woe

Sunday, April 22nd, 2007

I want to upload some mp3s to my ipod but it can’t be detected on my computers anymore. It’s still working cos I can play the stored mp3s but I wouldn’t upload new ones. Damn this ipod. It’s quite old. It’s a 4th generation model so no color or video. But I really want to upload new tunes. I wonder if it can still be fixed. *sigh* I don’t have money to buy a new one and I don’t really want to change it because of all the mp3s in it. Sucks!

Pablo

Monday, April 16th, 2007

I went out with Michelle and Jenny last Friday. First we went to Store For All Seasons where Nelz was having an exhibit. There were only a few people there. After the SFAS closed, we decided to head to Pablo in Cubao-X. Pablo is a gallery and they were letting anybody doodle on their walls. So we did that and it was kind of fun.

Blaze of Glory

Monday, April 16th, 2007

I didn’t watch the boxing match between Solis and Paquiao. I don’t like Manny anymore. Mukha na syang pera. Instead of focusing on his career as a boxer, gusto pa nya sumali sa politika. With friends like Singson and the likes coaching him that the government is where the money is, lumalabas ang tunay na kulay nya. He’s such a big disappointment talaga.

I crush Steve Carell

Yuck. I am ashamed to admit this but I have a school girl crush on Steve Carell. I found him cute in The 40-Year Old Virgin although I never watched it. Now that I’ve been watching The Office, I think he looks way better. Annoying but better. I don’t really know why I crush him since he isn’t really handsome. Very funny though and I like funny guys. He’s very smart too. Hehe

Crying Is The Next In Thing

Elegant kids at Club Loss

Against a backdrop of crashing choral music and candlelight, a group of elaborately costumed young women are dabbing their eyes with a handkerchief, their mascara running to form black rivulets down their cheeks. It is not difficult to see why they are so distressed: in front of them, a mound of pungent onions is being vigorously and elaborately chopped by a serious-looking young man in a tailcoat, and the fumes are overwhelming.

Even the male guests are wiping away the odd tear.

But then that’s precisely the point. The 300 people in the crowd at this candlelit 17th-century wine vault, tucked away off a busy London thoroughfare, are here to do just that.

They are celebrating – if that is the right word, under the circumstances – the chance to express their more sorrowful side at a new club night called Loss.

Billed as ‘an evening of exquisite misery’, this is where clubbers can go to indulge their inner gloom. The onions are there to help them along a bit, should they struggle to shed their British reserve.

Loss is one of a new breed of crying clubs to arrive in the UK from Japan, where tears have become something of an industry in recent years.

I so wanna go there!

Smart Offers P99 Unlimited WiFi to Subscribers

Monday, April 9th, 2007

I’m a happy Addict Mobile/Smart subscriber! I never had any problems with them before but now I love them. I was reading Philippine Daily Inquirer earlier today when I saw their ad about the 99 pesos a month unlimited Airborne Access for Smart Gold/Addict subscribers. Unlimited! Wi-Fi! For cheap! What more can I ask for. I’m happy I never actually got a subscription to Airborne Access because I would end up spending so much more. Happy happy joy joy!

Ebay.ph Finds

I love Anna Sui stuff. You’d know that if you regularly read this blog. I am loving this Anna Sui quilted bag.

It’s not in the very best condition. The seller said that it “has scuffings at the bottom” but I love the design. The starting bid is only P550 but I won’t buy the bag. It’s too small and I have too much already.

My next find is a Filipiniana dress which I think is so adorable.

Cuteness!!! It starts at 384 pesos.
The last one for this post is a nice Penelope Pitstop top which starts at 250 pesos.

Conti's, Serendra

Monday, April 9th, 2007

I was at High Street and Serendra earlier tonight with my relatives. We had dinner at Conti’s because my aunt said so many people were raving about the food there. We arrived early so there wasn’t a queue yet and we got a good table. I ordered their baked salmon, mom got roast beef, and my sister got chicken fingers and their crab salad. The food was okay for me but I don’t think it’s anything to rave about. The price is relatively cheaper than the other restos in Serendra but the portions are small. We ordered cakes afterwards: Sans Rival, Turtle Pie, Mango Bravo, and Dulce de Leche. Their sans rival was okay and so was dulce de leche. I didn’t like the other two though.

I guess Conti’s is okay if you want to save money but eat in a posh place like Serendra. I think their reputation is all hype though. I don’t think I would eat there again.

Missing Vyolette

Sunday, April 8th, 2007

Waaah I miss Vyolette. Mom brought her to a stud farm this afternoon. We couldn’t stand her wailing for a mate anymore. I thought she would just stay there overnight but she’ll be there up to Tuesday night. I’m sad. I want her here!!!
