Hana Yori Dango the movie
Yahoo! It’s almost official that there’s going to be a HYD movie next year with the same cast as the dorama. I got the news from http://arashi.vox.com/
And here’s a message from the cast (taken from here)
Inoue Mao (as Makino Tsukushi) - Last spurt! I will do my best!!
Matsumoto Jun (as Domyoji Tsukasa) - We made you wait, didn’t we!
Oguri Shun (as Hanazawa Rui) - I’m sleepy…but if I can see everyone (again, I will do it.)
Matsuda Shoota (as Nishikado Soojiroo) - Keep your hopes up for the finale.
Abe Tsuyoshi (as Mimasaka Akira) - Lets meet at the movie theater. [hehe he wrote in Chinese.
I wish they’ll include Ikuta Toma in the movie but I doubt it.

Fans of the “Hana Yori Dango” drama series will get one more chance to see the cast in action, as a movie has been announced for the summer of 2008. Titled “Hana Yori Dango Final,” the film is being described as the last chapter of the live-action adaptation.
This will be Mao Inoue’s first starring role in a movie. Jun Matsumoto, Shun Oguri, Shota Matsuda, and Tsuyoshi Abe will reprise their roles as the group known as “F4.”
The film is set one year after Tsukushi Makino’s graduation. The story focuses on a major incident that the five main characters become involved in, while also depicting the ups and downs of Tsukushi and Tsukasa’s relationship.
Filming is scheduled to take place overseas for about two months, starting in January. The series’ director Yasuharu Ishii will helm the picture. The story is currently being developed by the original mangaka Yoko Kamio and the series’ screenwriter Mikio Satake (actor Takayuki Takuma).

I found out about this from arashi.vox.com too. ^_^ I knew there will be another HYD drama, but I didn’t expect it to be a movie. XD

I wasn’t expecting this at all although I hoped for another season or similar. The ending of HYD 2 looked pretty final (and baduy especially with the choreographed dances, etc). I hope they don’t make the movie baduy but even if it ends up like that, I wouldn’t mind. I really liked the series.

It isn’t a new season but a movie. Quite exciting, actually. Oguri Shun is BUSY~! But it’s good to see him in several roles. Love it =)
Does anyone know where the filming will be? It is said overseas, I doubt that it’s in New York again… wouldn’t it be nice if its in Canada? *SQUEAL*
But I’m guessing its somewhere in Europe or Hawaii. I have no idea why, it’s just a feeling.

They’re currently filming in Paris if I’m not mistaken. I can’t wait to see it too. But I think I would still want to see more after the film so I’m hoping for a third season

OMG!!!! Yay!~ I just finished watching the drama and I too bawled throughout the whole series! I just loved this drama so much. It was perfect in every way. American movies and shows can’t even make me cry so hard! I guess it’s cuz I love Japan more. BTW!!! I am going to be in Japan when the movie comes out! WON’T THAT BE AMAZING!!! aaaaahhh! sorry, just soooo excited! Omg…. I think I’m going to hyperventilate!
Who knew I could get so lucky! It must be saturn.

I might be in Japan too when the movie comes out but I might not watch it since I wouldn’t be able to understand. I’ll just wait for the subbed version

i think it is going to be in las vegas. no idk. im only making a guess cuz the sneak peak showed a casino and stuffs. idk. OooOoo a part of me still hopes for her to pick Rui, oguri shun is soooooo HOT. XD very cute.
