Alarmed
I’m worried for Brian Gorrell. His latest entry is alarming :(
I woke up this morning ready to post my next entry to the blog.
I’m having some problems though.
I had visitors this morning at seven thirty.
Private Investigators from the Philippine’s Consulate in Sydney.
With them, was four Federal Australian police officers.
They also took my computer.
I have been questioned and cautioned. Spent three hours trembling. Hysterical inside.
I have turned off my Facebook for the time being. Friends can reach me at my private yahoo.
Can’t read the death threats anymore,
I asked the officials to challenge the blogs content for its accuracy.
Free speach I said.
My lawyer is pricey.
I have a VERY good lawyer.
Thanks DJ. Thanks for ruining my life.
I am going into hiding now, because I can hardly stand what has happened to me.
But my other computer is coming with me.Thanks Celine.
You would have me in jail instead getting DJ to give me back my money.I am questioning everything now.
Who will fuck me over next you guys? You took my money DJ. And now you would have me dead before paying it back.
Why?
How could you do this?
Fuck! I hope he’s okay. And what’s with chikatime undergoing renovation? I don’t believe their claim that they’re doing so because nobody goes to their site anymore. If anything, their site has more visitors since the expose.

I really feel bad for that guy. I strongly believe that he will not see even a single cent of his money anymore. I am worried about his safety as well. These people have a lot of connections and means to destroy him. That DJ guy is just riding it out and eventually people will forget and move on to other things.
He is probably going through the 7 signs of grief. After his lashing out, he’s probably on the depression phase now. I hope he will be okay.

I know
Naaawa ako sa kanya and he has HIV pa. How can anybody do that to a sick guy?!
I read the comments and it was mentioned that DJ and his friends are trying to come up with the money. I hope they do so they can pay up already and Brian can rest and heal.
O.T. you were able to fix my CSS before. Can you help me again?

Parang dinadamay na lang niya lahat para mapressure iyong DJ to come up with the money already. Parang nananakot na lang din siya.
Pero I really understand how he feels. Naloko na rin din ako dati tungkol sa pera so I know how betrayed he feels.

Oo nga ano…baka nga sinasabi lang yun.
I don’t think alam din nya. Pero marami nage email about them for sure. Desperate na sya kaya lahat ng baho ng GG binobroadcast na nya. Ako din na betray na before. Not because of money pero just as bad. Siraan din sa net and I’m still a bit bitter eventhough it happened years ago.
BTW, I emailed you again. Naging pink kasi lahat ng links ko

I heard about the blog of Brian Gorrell from a magic 89.9, a radio station which I listen to every morning. Upon arriving the office my curiosity led me to search for the blog and read it. I got hooked from reading the first entry and I couldn’t believe that I was able to finish it up in one sitting. Around 5 or 6 pm, I checked the blog for any updates and mysteriously, its content was stripped down to one entry. And just this evening upon arriving home it has 2 entries left and the latest one says “This blog is officially over”. Damn. I can’t think of any other reason why the blog was abruptly ended, coming from a “never say die, I want my money back or else I’ll screw you all” tone, other than using force and putting the bloggers life at stake.
I hope he’s ok. If not, then lets all be afraid of the injustice this country has and the power of money and influence being able to reach the world down under. Imagine if you’re in Brian’s situation and you don’t have the capacity to leave this country. Man….. we’re like cockroach to them wealthy and powerful.

@Secret,
I was astonished too. Good thing I was able to recover his last few posts through RSS before he deleted them. I hope Brian got his money back and that he can finally rest now. I don’t even want to think something else forced him to close down his blog especially now that it has been gaining media attention.

I was able to retain all of his blogs because I didn’t shut down my browser. I really love the <- BACK button. I just hope Brian is not dead because there’s no BACK button for him in real life situations.

@secret
good for you. the only ones i have are from the RSS and some comments. I don’t think Brian’s dead. I think the pressure got to him that’s why he deleted his entries about some certain people.

or maybe dj already paid his debt (the title of his latest entry being “peace”). either that or what happened is the popular conspiracy theory everybody is thinking of right now…
