Goodbye, Brian
I only went online tonight and was surprised to find that most of Brian Gorrell’s blog entries are gone. What happened? Did he get back his money? I hope that’s the reason for the blog’s closure. The internet will be quiet again.
UPDATE
There are rumors that Gucci Gang and friends are having a “Goodbye Brian” party at the Embassy as I write this. I don’t know this first hand. Somebody also commented that the thread about Brian’s blog in Pinoyexchange is now gone. I’ll leave it up to you, readers, to form your own theories about these events.

Nope, he didn’t get his money back and he stressed that fact on his post before he pruned his blog. Basically he just said that the blog will end already and that he will be deleting the comments. Confusingly, he actually apologized to some of the people he lambasted on his blog like Wendy, Celine’s parents, Celine, etc (of course, excluding that DJ guy). Sabi pa nga niya may regrets siya. He reiterated his reasons for starting up the blog; how he was in deep rage. But now he wants to start focusing on his move to Canada in the near future and his health.
I can’t remember all the contents of his last post na, eh. Oh, he also bargained to DJ to pay him even just half of what he owes him.
Talagang hindi na niya makukuha pera niya. I think this experience had brought out the ugly in him thus the lashing out on other people. He was betrayed and he wanted revenge. Pagkatapos niyang ilabas iyon, he just felt regret for what he had become — a darker and bitter person. He’s starting to realize na siguro that he won’t get any of his money back. He will still wish that the guy will come to his senses, finally be a decent person and pay him back pero wala na talaga iyon. Mga taong ganuon ay walang konsensya pagdating sa panluloko kaya wish ko lang ay mas maaga ay makalimutan na niya iyong DJ :-( … Sa tingin ko napressure din siguro siya nuong mga taong kinakabangga niya. Pero sana huwag niyang burahin buong blog niya at iwan niya lang iyong mga posts niya tungkol sa manluloko. Opinion ko lang naman, heh…

Nabasa ko yung mga posts na yun. Buti talaga nasa Google Reader ko yung blog nya. Anyway, I think sobrang na pressure na talaga sya and I also agree na it brought out an ugly Brian because of all the negativity. Masama yun sa disease nya. Sana na lang, like you said, hindi nya binura yung mga past posts nya :(

The blog re-opened, but some posts are still closed. Hindi pa rin daw siya bayad and everybody’s after him na: the media, dj’s family, the gucci gang and their henchmen, etc.
Bakit ba kasi nahuli ako sa balitang ganitong katindi.

I’m still keeping track of his blog. Kelan mo ba sya una napuntahan? I think yung first na nabasa ko is when he posted a scan of DJ’s letter to him…basta yung may white paper.

im inviting everyone out there to share any info you know about this.Mr. Gorrell has cross the line already,and a group of concerned Filipinos are not taking this lightly.
I KNEW IT!Brian is posting comments as anonymous on his blog!I saw something like

I accept your apology. I’m not saying that I’m siding with Brian. As I’ve said, I am rethinking my opinion of what he’s doing. I don’t even go to his blog anymore because I find it tiresome and mostly full of rants now. But it’s his blog and he can do whatever he wants to do with it. As for the blog you mentioned, there were ads on the right side. It’s also not all about Brian or DJ Montano but about scandalous things on the net.
