I just got so tired of looking at my old theme so I felt I needed a change. I’m not totally satisfied with this new one. I love it. It looks stunning. But I didn’t make it myself so that won’t do. I want to stick with themes I made because it makes me feel good, as if I’m good at graphics and coding and all that shite which I totally am not. This purrty theme will do in the meantime. I need to start making a new one.

I was looking for the video of Gothic Archies’ “Smile, No One Cares How You Feel” when I stumbled upon this neat video by the said band. There’s no video for the song I mentioned but ANYTHING by Stephin Merritt (aka God) and his gazillion bands is good. This video is for Lemony Snicket’s “A Series of Unfortunate Events” where Mr. Snicket aka Daniel Handler collaborated with Stephin and his Gothic Archies to produce a series of songs based on the books. There’s this funny video of Snicket and Merritt during a book signing. It made me realize how funny Mr. Snicket really is. He’s bigger than life. I’ve only read up to book 2 and got tired of it. The movie was amazing though. Loved the actors, the costumes, the end and beginning credits, etc. Stephin Merritt is one of my idols so combine this awesome lyricist/musician with an author who wants to make children depressed, hahaha that’s fun times!

I watched HYD 1 and 2 again and the series made me bawl again. The ending of HYD 2 is so cheesy but that’s alright with me.

My goodness! Hiro Mizushima will appear in another dorama.

This drama is based on Yuu Watase’s shojo manga “Zettai Kareshi” (also known as “Absolute Boyfriend”), starring Mocomichi Hayami and Saki Aibu. In this version, Aibu plays a temp OL in search of a boyfriend, and she ends up in possession of a “robot” (Hayami) who is programmed to be the perfect boyfriend. However, this creates a love triangle with a distinguished young man at Aibu’s company (Hiro Mizushima) who has feelings for her.

I was looking at the dorama’s official site but got weirded out by the “robot”. Aibu looks creepy in this drama. Regardless, I hope a fansub group will release this. I want more Hiro goodness!

I was re-watching Long Vacation and after finishing ep.1 I found out that I couldn’t find the CD of episode 2 and 3. Waaaah! I miss Long Vacation. It’s my favorite dorama evar!!! I’m in a Long Vacation mode at the moment. Feeling old, unloved, and depressed. LV is the perfect dorama to watch but now I can’t. I don’t know where the CD is and everything is a mess. I need to organize my dorama collection again, I know. I’m so bad at this.

I finally finished watching Princess Hours/ Goong after spending several days sleeping really late so I can watch it through a streaming site. The series was so-so for me. Actually there were a lot of boring, dragging scenes. Yoon Eun Hye was good in it but the other actors weren’t so versatile although they looked really good. The actor who played Yul reminded me of Bishie. They kinda look alike. Anyway, the series was disappointing. I was expecting it to be really good but it’s a far cry from Coffee Prince.

Mushy but what the hell…

Good thing I love bread, sometimes even more than rice. Well, I couldn’t resist not posting this photo. Thanks to Chuvaness for allowing me to use this.

I got back from the hospital this afternoon (technically yesterday afternoon since it’s the 16th now). The d and c was successful but I was awake throughout the procedure. The anesthesiologist decided to use spinal anesthesia instead of general anesthesia because he was worried that he’ll have difficulties waking me up. I wanted to be asleep during the d and c and since I wasn’t, I was terrified during most of the procedure. It lasted for like 30 minutes but I felt my OB poking around. Tsk. She sent a piece of me to the pathology lab. I’ll learn the findings on Thursday when I call her.

The anesthesia felt so weird. Well, not weird but more of annoying. It took 2 hours to wear off and I really couldn’t move my legs in the Recovery Room. There was a lady beside me in the RR. I don’t know what procedure they did to her but she began having chills after an hour and was crying the whole time. I felt sorry for her even though I was the one who had terrible chills right after my operation. She was an outpatient and I think she was forced to be confined because of the sudden fever. Poor girl.

I’m recuperating well although I think I caught an infection on my right ovary. It sometimes hurts and the lymph node on my right side of my neck is swollen. I have to rest for a week and not go up and down the stairs. I can’t carry heavy objects too. So I don’t know if I can go out to gimmicks even this weekend. I don’t really mind because I’m beginning to feel normal again.
