Virginie Ropars
I love Gothic Beauty magazine. Unfortunately, international subscription is too expensive for me so all I can do is get their email notifications about their latest issues. In this month’s issue, they’re featuring Virginie Ropars, doll artist. I’m not familiar with her works so I googled her and found her stunning polymer clay dolls.
I really love the detailing. How the hell did she do them? The French are really artistic, don’t you think? They have the advantage IMO since they have access to antiques and other materials. See more of her dolls at vropars.free.fr/mainENG.htm
P.S.
I’m wishing someone would send me this Gothic Beauty issue. Or better yet, a year’s subscription would be awesome! ;)

I love Gothic designs and fashion. I used to wear those kind of clothes when I was in my early twenties. But I think I got tired of those weird looks that I get from other people who thinks I am wearing weird clothings. I am about to tell one of those stupid girl nga giggling na “Hello, this what you call Gothic fashion”. I remember i was wearing a Corporate Goth and yet she thinks my fashion sense is from outer space. I was only wearing all black that time and now she thinks I am weird.

@equilibrium - I know what you mean. I seldom go all out in gothic wear but even if I’m just wearing a gothic top and jeans, I get weird looks. Deadma na lang. I want to go all out but it’s too hot naman. Corporate Goth is good!

Yes and it is kinda annoying. But right now I stopped wearing Gothic fashion. I dont know ha, pero parang as I grow old, some of the trends and hobbies changed as well.
I started buying some colors sa wardrobe ko. And honestly, I love purple and pink now. :)

She’s best friend to me.
In the my blog, if it interests to you, there are two Virginie Ropars’dolls.
They are of my personal collection. ^___^
