Maila Nurmi, more popularly known as playing the role of Vampira, died last January 10. She came before Elvira and even sued her for copying her style. She gained a cult following later on in her career. Even actors became her fans. Despite her popularity, she experienced a lot of hardship as she aged. She became stereotyped for playing the horror mistress so producers didn’t hire her for any other role except for something horror-related. She had to give up her acting career and just settled for opening up an antique shop in her home and showing up in conventions. She died at the age of 86 but  her image will remain immortal especially among fans and goth women who idolize her.

At least for a day. I want to watch the concert of My Chemical Romance this January 29 (or is it 25?). I don’t like their music but I find the lead singer hawt.

What can I say? I like guys pasty white guys with eyeliner. He also looks young (!!!) even if he’s just my age. I don’t want to waste my money for the concert though. If I can drag a friend with me, I’ll hang out outside the concert venue and buy from a scalper maybe halfway through the concert so I can get cheap front seats. Or maybe we could bully some high school kids there and steal their tickets. I doubt I could convince any of my friends to go with me though. Pfft.

Speaking of emo, my friend said I am one since I’m depressive and sometimes whiney. I was so offended when he said that but maybe he’s right. Now I find his comment funny. But I still don’t want to be emo. I associate it with angsty teeny bopper sissy mallrats. Then again, I have the maturity of one. Oh no!

Bizarre claims about Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ 20-month-ol daughter Suri Cruise has been published in a new unauthorized biography about the Scientologist. Andrew Morton claims that Suri was conceived using the sperm of dead Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.

Morton’s new book also throws accusations at Scientologist groups about Cruise’s ex-wife Nicole Kidman. He claims she was blackmailed after their marriage ended in 2000. Morton alleges Scientologist feared Kidman may be a threat to Cruise so they threatened to release intimate details about the couple’s sex life if she publicly slammed their religion.

Cruise’s attorney, Bert Fields, calls the claims a “pack of lies.” “It’s a boring, poorly researched book by a man who never talked to anyone involved in Tom Cruise’s life or anyone close to him,” Fields says.

I wouldn’ t be surprised if the sperm did come from the Hubbard but I doubt that the sperm came from him. Suri is too good looking. I think the real father is Katie Holmes’ ex whatshisface.

Since all is lost with Bishie, I am now distracting myself with a real bishounen. I recently downloaded scans of Hiro Mizushima’s “With You” photobook and his photos made me almost drool literally.

Yummy! Anyway, I decided to treat myself and ordered the photobook and his calendar from HMV Japan. I hope that having that would make me feel better about the Bishie thing. I wonder if Ikuta Toma has a photobook as well.

I had a short vacation last November 2 to 3 with my family and some relatives.

On the morning of Nov. 2, we visited the graves of dead relations in Binan, Laguna. After that, we had lunch at Rose and Grace in Sta. Rosa. My relatives love eating there cos the food is cheap. I’m tired of Rose and Grace. The food is so-so. After lunch, we went straight to Tagaytay Highlands.

I haven’t been there for more than a year. I thought that there would be something new and interesting there but there isn’t.  Oh, well there’s free wifi there but I left my laptop in the van so I wasn’t able to surf. I just used my sister’s Sony Ericsson P1i (it has WLAN), so I was able to twit some messages.

Around 2PM, we checked into our cottage rooms in Camp Highlands. There’s A/C and cable tv so that’s good. I slept until 5 PM then prepped for dinner.

Dinner was at the Tagaytay Steakhouse. I’ve tried it before but I read a lot of rave reviews about the Steakhouse so I wanted to try again. Maybe I just missed something. I ordered the rib eye but I didn’t like it much. I guess I’m not really into steaks. After dinner, we went to the entrance to wait for the driver. I noticed a familiar face. I was thinking that the guy looks like Ken Zhu of F4. So when the driver arrived, I asked my relatives if the guy was Ken Zhu and mom said it was him. I declared that I want to have a picture him but the van was already moving. I told the driver to go back but when we got to the entrance, Ken was getting in ride. Boo! I wanted a photo with him

We went to Starbucks (blech) but the place was packed. We also went to Figaro but it was full as well. It was no use so we just headed back to Highlands.

Back there, we dropped off my aunt at Belleview then the rest of us headed to Cottage Grove. I was tired and grumpy so I just went to our room and showered. I also watched some tv while snacking. When my sister was complaining about the sound cos she couldn’t sleep, I pulled out my laptop and watched Dexter. I slept around 4am.

I woke up early the next day. I think 7:30 am. I ate a quick breakfast then showered and dressed up. There was nothing much to do so I packed up my belongings. Around 10am, my sister woke up so I finally got to watch tv. We all checked out around 12pm.

I thought we would be having lunch in Highlands. I was looking forward to Highlands Bistro. But mom said that some of my relatives were in a hurry to go back to Manila. That made me grumpier. I didn’t partake when they had drive through  Jollibee food.

I think we got home at 2pm. I played with my cats and slept for hours after that.

See, it was really a short vacation and I didn’t enjoy it much especially since I’ve been since since November 1.

I  don’t want to have Bishie as crush anymore.  He’s bad for my mental health. So let me introduce my new and improved crush.

He is Ikuta Toma. He’s a Japanese actor. He’s 24 years old so that won’t make me a pedo. I liked him when he appeared as Junpei in Hana Yori Dango 2 even though he only had a bit part. He has a better part now in another dorama. I say good for him! Good for me too because it means I’ll see him more.

Yes, I’m back to pathetic fantasy boys but I would rather have it this way.

That totally destroyed my gay wishes for the two of them. Hmmp.
