Waaah. I loved tonight’s episode of Big Brother. I bawled like crazy and it was embarrassing. So goodbye Raquel and Bob. Raquel I’m glad they got rid of but Bob’s eviction was untimely since it was due to his medical condition. Poor him. Never liked him but seeing him crying like a baby made him a bit endearing. Big Brother Uma has been quite boring lately. I wish he would make out with that fil-am guy Sam. Gay guys making out makes me ‘kilig’. Especially cute gay guys.

I will devote an entire post to Uma Big Brother. So if there are other Uma fans out there, please comment. I love the guy because he’s so frank, funny, and gay. Oh he’s cute too.

My Dream Man

He’s not super handsome but he has this pleasant, kind face and he seems really intelligent and sweet. Maybe in person he’s entirely the opposite but I’ll just stay in this dream world and like him as how he appears in most of his movies. I’ve only seen a few actually. The 2 Bridget Jones’, Love Actually, and in a few glimpses on tv when HBO was showing What A Girl Wants. *sigh* He reminds me a bit of Conan O’Brian and Tim Robbins both of whom I like a lot. Fixed the damn mac. Turns out that one of my memory cards is causing all the trouble. Need to take this up with the original owner. All this hassle is making me feel drained. I should be rejoicing now that I have a powermac. It was one of my dreams in the first place. But this unit is so much trouble and that’s the problem with buying second hand stuff. I swear, once I’ve paid this off with my mom and I have lots of money to spare, I will buy a brand new one. A really really really good one. Add also a powerbook to that.

I don’t know the exact time he’ll be there but I want to see him in person. I’m not a big fan and hardly read Sandman but I’ve read all his books and loved American Gods. I’ll probably make him sign my copy of that or my hardbound Coraline.

I was in Rockwell’s Fully Booked earlier and saw Tim Burton’s “Match Boy and Stick Girl Box Set” which I have on my Amazon wish list. They’re selling it for P1,350. I was already in the queue for the cashier but decided not to buy it since I still have a sizable credit card debt. Oh well.

I just finished watching “Maalaala Mo Kaya? (Do You Remember?)” on ABS-CBN and in tonight’s episode, they featured the life of Cecile Inigo who’s better known as Dabyana. I didn’t know much about the famous actress known for her big size. All I knew is that she was a fodder for fat jokes. After watching the episode, I realized her life was so colorful and rich. She was gutsy and went after her dreams, she was courted by an Italian count, and eventually found her true love in her own homeland. Most of all, she was never ashamed of her size even if she was often ridiculed. I have to commend ABS-CBN for featuring such a story especially during these times when Philippine media makes fun of fat people. Dabyana should serve as a role model for overweight Filipinos.
