Visita Iglesia 2008
Dexter Crushes
I watched the Dexter marathon on Fox Crime. I really like that show. Anyway, I have 2 crushes there.
Sam Witwer who played Neil Perry, the Icetruck killer wannabe. He looks a tad geeky but he’s buff and handsome. Yummy!
Christian Camargo who played Rudy Cooper. He’s so deliciously twisted and sexay too!
Wala lang. Just wanted a post about them. hehehe
4AD is going to release a box set of Dead Can Dance’s albums! DCD is essential listening, folks. Lisa Gerrard’s voice is really something else. If you’re not familiar with her, you would have heard her voice in the Gladiator Soundtrack. Remember that? Yes, that was her. Anyway, the box set will contain 9 remastered albums of DCD. I have a few of their albums but I still want this. The box set is quite expensive though.
Kitty Go’s blog
I’ve been waiting years for this and at long last Kitty Go has a blog. Read the dirt she dishes out and try to find out who’s behind the code names. It’s a guessing game unlike Brian Gorrell’s blog.

I haven’t browsed boingboing.net for ages but thanks to them, I have these to add to my wish list:
The photos here are the notebooks I want. They’re expensive. $36 for a large one and $22 for small but they’re works of art. I wonder how the etching was done. Anyone feeling generous out there? There are more designs at modofly.net
Reposting from Fritz’s blog. I’m planning to send some of my UP photos.
Along with a group of UP bloggers, we have come up with a special project for the UP Centennial Month this coming June. It’s called “UP@100: Capturing 100 UP Moments“ - It is a Music Video Project which will compile 100 photos and videos from participants consisting UP alumni and students. It aims to capture 100 unique UP moments from 100 different points of view in the past 100 years of the University’s existence.
We are inviting YOU to join us in this endeavor.
Mechanics: How to submit an entry
I. Who can participate:
- Any University of the Philippines Alumni.
- Any University of the Philippines student.
II. How to submit your photo or video:
- A participant can submit at most two pictures of himself/herself (alone or otherwise) taken in UP or during a UP event OR a 15-sec video of the participant taken in UP or during a UP event.
- Each entry should have the the following information:
- Name
- Student Number
- Degree and Course
- Two to five words describing the event (include the year the photo/video was taken)
- If it’s a group photo, please indicate your position in the picture.
- Entries could be submitted by doing one or more of the following:
- Sending them with file (photo/video) attachments/links to:
- up100 [atsign] googlegroups.com or
- admin [atsign] fritzified.com.
- Posting the photos on their blogs and leaving the url as a comment on this official UP@100 post.
- Uploading the video on a file sharing site and leaving the download link as a comment on this official UP@100 post.
- Only ONE of the entries submitted per participant will be selected.
- The deadline for submissions is on June 19, 2008. A day after the UP Centennial Anniversary (so that photos from the centennial celebration could be included).
- The launch of the video will be on June 26, 2008 on all the organizers’ blogs.
- A microsite will be created for the project where all (part of the 100 or not) the submitted photos & videos will be posted in sync with the video launch.
Here are more UP@100 coordinators: Coy, Juned, Benj, Ederic, Poyt, Gino, Karla, Kevin and AJ.
We are very excited in this project and I hope many of you can join! Looking forward to your great UP moments!

My Disclosure Policy
This is a personal blog, written solely by me, dementia. You can’t trust somebody with such a nickname.
When I include articles or another blogger’s posts, I give credit to the author and link back to them.
I need to pay my credit card debts. That’s why I joined some pay-per-post and review websites. I get paid if my paid posts doesn’t suck. If the post didn’t get approved. I suck even more.
I also accept invites to blog meets (Trinoma Bloggers Food Tour) where I won’t get paid but I eat good food. If food is involved, please invite me to your event.
I like receiving freebies. I never asked for one yet, at least none that I remember. If a company decides to send me a product for me to review, I will write what I really think about the product. Please send me free products. Pretty please!
This is my disclosure policy and so be it.
Flag Day
Today is Philippines’ Flag Day.
This flag was designed by Emilio Aguinaldo and was secretly sewn in Hong Kong by Marcela Agoncillo, her daughter Lorenza Agoncillo, and Delfina Herbosa.
Did you know that its official Pantone colors are 286 (blue), 186 (red), and 116 (yellow)?
Our flag signifies our democracy which our ancestors gave up their lives for. Therefore, we should respect it and value our independence in whatever way we can especially during these trying times. I’m so saddened by the state of our country especially how we are lagging behind our neighbors when a few decades ago, they were the ones looking up to us. I really don’t know how was as a nation can reclaim our former glory but I’m sure there is a way…
Uy Improving!
Used to be this blog’s reading level is “Elementary School” but I took the online test again and got Junior High. LOL. That still isn’t good but at least I’m improving.
